KILLING THE BUGS

Recently I heard on the news that the Nation of Mexico
was griping because some insect may die if we build a
wall along our border.
I lived in Belize Central America in 1996 and 1997.
I would go to Chetumal, Mexico once a month to buy groceries.
Chetumal is just across the southern border between Mexico and Belize.
Everytime the bus would get into Mexico it would pull over and two
guys wearing filter masks would go around the bus spraying insecticide
on the tires and the underside of the bus to kill all the insects that
may be hitching a ride.
Why are our insects any different than the insects from Belize?
